What is the thyroid?

The thyroid is a gland, located at the base of the neck below the Adam’s apple. It measures about 5 cm in diameter and weighs about 30 grams. The two lobes of the gland are connected by a central part called the isthmus, which gives the thyroid a butterfly shape. Like all glands, the thyroid makes hormones: thyroid hormones.

How to use

  • Take 1 to 2 NATHYROID® tablet(s) per day with a glass of water.
  • NATHYROID® is not intended to replace thyroid hormone treatment. If it is used as a supplement to such a treatment, ask a health professional for advice and space out the intake of NATHYROID® by at least 2 hours with the intake of levothyroxine.
